Your first walkthrough
The whole routine, once, so the next twenty are muscle memory. Nothing to set up first: the app ships with a leaving-home list you can change later.
Start your first check
On first launch, finish the introduction with Get Started or tap Skip. The app opens a check on the ready-made list. On later visits, tap Leaving Home on the selected list in Today.
Today labels the selected list’s photos as In progress or Last completed check. The home screen pictured here shows an app with previous checks.
Photograph an item
If the item has a reference photo, it appears above the live camera. If there is no reference yet, a short explanation appears; your first photo becomes the reference. Allow camera access when asked, then fill the frame with the one thing you are checking, tap the shutter, and the app moves to the next item by itself.
For an item that needs no photo, choose Without photo. For a photo item, choose I can’t take a photo right now, or Manual if the camera is unavailable. These record a check without a photo. Skip leaves the item unchecked.
Read the check summary
After the last item, Review Photos lets you inspect photos by place in a list or grid. Choose Correct to revisit an item, or Finish Check to open the summary with duration, checked items and photos. If anything was skipped, choose Review Skipped to visit those items once more, or Finish Anyway to keep the partial result. Skipping again moves to the next item in that review; it does not mark the item checked.
Finished too soon? Back to checking reopens this check. Look under More… if an action is folded away. Edit checklist lets you remove an item from this result and future checks; earlier checks keep their records. With Pro, share a fresh summary card after your changes.
Find it again in History
Finished checks stay in History with their photos and exact times according to your retention setting: 30 days by default, or 7, 90, or Never.
Open the check’s menu and choose Protect from auto-cleanup — for a rental check-out, say — to keep automatic cleanup from removing it.
That is the core routine. The rest — extra lists, reminders when you leave, summary cards, backup files — is convenience on top of these four screens.
